Quick, easy payments using just your mobile number
As easy as texting your mates
Pingit links your mobile number with your bank account and makes it easy to pay money straight into another account. No account numbers or sort codes – just Pingit from one mobile to another. If you're aged 16 and over all you need is a UK bank account, a UK-registered mobile phone, and to download the Pingit app.
It's free, secure and fast.
How Pingit works
Pingit works via an app on your mobile - available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
As a part of the registration we link to your mobile number to a UK bank account
You send money to another mobile number or registered business in just a few taps
That money appears almost instantly in the recipient's account (the one they linked to Pingit)
If the recipient isn't registered for Pingit they'll get a text message telling them the money is waiting for them.
And if after five days they still haven't registered, the money isn't transferred and remains in your account.
What is Paym?

Stay on top of your monthly bills
If a service provider you use is registered you can also pay your bills with Pingit. Just snap the QR code on your monthly bill and we'll set up the payment for you. We'll even enter the amount, which you can change at any time.
